| Description |
i) Main Purpose
To develop in learners the broad knowledge of the Scriptures for building a biblically based worldview and to apply that knowledge in the counseling/discipling of troubled Christians.
ii) Special Features
The counseling model taught is explicitly derived from the Scriptures for the purpose of helping Christians face their problems of living in the light of its teaching on progressive sanctification. This is derived through a study of the Bible and compared to secular models of psychology & counseling.
Modules are offered in Independent Study and Online Course formats to accelerate student progress in the completion of the programme, and to accommodate adult learning needs and differing learning styles. |

To provide a biblical and theological foundation for godly living and fruitful Christian
ministry and to focus on the use and application of divine truth in religious education, worship,
preaching, administration, and other areas of practical theology.
ii) Special Features
The distinctive at-a-distance structure of the program allows for immediate integration of new learning. In this program, your present ministry setting becomes the active environment for connecting theory and practice. Courses are designed to sharpen and enhance existing ministry skills, strengthen areas of weakness, and expand thinking to new horizons and practice. The Bible is central to our understanding of effective Ministry. Ministry must be built on a sound understanding of the Bible. You will learn how to evaluate methods and theories of ministry on the basis of biblical teachings and how to build your philosophy and practice of ministry on biblical principle.

To develop learners’ understanding of biblical counseling as a model distinct from other models of counseling, whether secular or Christian integrationist, and to develop critical thinking & information literacy skills necessary for writing a thesis on some aspect of counseling from the perspective of a biblical worldview.
ii) Special Features
The counseling model taught is explicitly derived from the Scriptures for the purpose of helping Christians face their problems of living in the light of its teaching on progressive sanctification. This is studied in comparison to other counseling models. The thesis provides learners with opportunity for delving further into a question of interest not adequately represented in the current biblical counseling literature.

| Description |
i) Main Purpose
To develop in learners skills of analysis, synthesis, critical evaluation, and communication of theological categories and systems to be applied to Christian service and their own lives.
ii) Special Features
Theology answers the basic question that people in the church and on the street often ask, “What does the Bible say about that?” Participants in the Theology programme at Trinity will learn to gather together the relevant teaching of Scripture on a given topic and present it as a coherent whole. They will also be challenged to interact with various theological paradigms, both ancient and modern. Finally, students at Trinity will be challenged to make theology practical by applying its principles to life.
