All written assignments submitted electronically are to be submitted in Microsoft Word compatible format. As a serious student, you should consider making the investment in a copy of Microsoft Word. However, if you do not have a legal copy of Microsoft Word, you may use this link to download Open Office (NeoOffice for Mac Users), an open-source word processor that can save files in Microsoft Word format.
If you are unfamiliar with Microsoft Word, there are excellent tutorials on the web to help you learn how to use Microsoft Word. There are two listed below:
Florida Gulf Coast University: http://www.fgcu.edu/support/office2000/word/index.html
The Division of Teaching and Learning Technologies at the University of Mary Washington: http://www.umw.edu/training/inte/office/word/word_processing/index.htm
Both of these tutorials are an excellent way to familiarize yourself with using Microsoft Word.
You will also need the free Adobe Reader program for viewing Study Guides, and Adobe Flash for listening to audio lectures using the Online Learning Center's built-in MP3 player. Audio lectures, which are in MP3 format, can be downloaded to your computer, and listened to using whatever MP3 player software you wish (such as Windows Media Player, etc.), or downloaded to an MP3 player. Please note that all academic audio lectures are the property of Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary and are not authorized for duplication or distribution without prior written consent.
