MASTER OF ARTS PROGRAMS

ACCELERATED ONLINE LEARNING DESIGN

Trinity is Making Learning Accessible by offering students an innovative online study environment that is convenient and user friendly. Online courses bring students together in a learning community led by an instructor who is an expert in the field of study. The interactive nature of this online community makes the learning experience enjoyable, often leading to lasting friendships with fellow learners.

Master students can complete the program of study over a period of 18 months. All courses are held in online classrooms consisting of eight weeks of weekly readings and online discussions, followed by four additional weeks for the completion of any remaining assignments. One to two online courses are taken during each term. Each online course is equivalent to six semester credit hours. The 54 credit hours of the program are broken down as follows:

  • 36 hours – six online courses (4 terms; 12 months)
  • 18 hours – three online courses or a master dissertation (2 terms; 6 months)

Applicants for a master's level degree program must have a bachelor's degree from an approved school. Some students may be allowed to enter into a M.A. Degree Program without an Undergraduate Degree.

"I was able to gain valuable knowledge."
"As a pastor's wife and mother of two children, I wanted to gain more knowledge in leadership and theology. Trinity gave me this opportunity through their distance study and seminar programs. I was able to gain valuable knowledge in spiritual wisdom, and the study of leadership provided me with the knowledge that has enabled me to become a more effective leader."
